Marti Marmaris – Marmaris

The Marti Marmaris marina is situated on the blue seas of Turkey's southern coast, bordered by pine trees and home of the archaeological ruins of the Goddess Hemithea. It is 25 kilometres away from Marmaris, a beautiful city worth discovering.

The marina itself is a modern development with exclusive yachting and sailing facilities. It has a berthing capacity of 300 on the water and 100 on land, with the servicing, comfort and security facilities you would expect. Managed by the Marti Hotel Group, staff have 30 years of experience behind them.

The marina has been awarded the prestigious blue flag award, which means it has achieved the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Only 14 of Turkey's marinas have attained this level. The water is exceptionally clean and offers very pleasant conditions.

Marti Marmaris offers a range of boat services, including mast stepping and unstepping, underwater inspections and battery charging, as well as interior cleaning, bilge washing, polishing wax and antifouling paint. Diesel and petrol are both available and water and electricity are free. An extensive range of technical services are provided upon request and dry-docking and hauling is possible for vessels fit for a 60 tonne travel lift.

The slight distance between the marina and the main city means Marti Marmaris is particularly tranquil. Away from the hustle and bustle you can relax in hammocks under the trees along the bay or sit near the shore knowing that marina staff are taking care of you.

Next to the marina, you'll find the Mistral Restaurant & Bar which specialises in Mediterranean and Far Eastern cuisine. Here you can dine in the lavishly decorated interior, enjoy a meal under the stars, or breakfast in the sun by the restaurant's pool. The restaurant offers a ten per cent discount to marina guests. Alternatively, the Wheelhouse Cafe is another friendly option.

A supermarket is on site which caters for all your needs, as well as a laundry service and tourist trips can also be arranged at the reception. High standard toilet and shower facilities are always open. However, should you need to get in contact with the world beyond, internet facilities are available at the reception 24 hours a day and getting to Marmaris is easy via the free shuttle service provided by the marina. The post office is situated on the main square and Marmaris also offers some stunning views as the city is built on one of the largest natural harbours in the world. The spot is held to be the meeting point of the Aegean and Mediterranean Sea.

Nearby places of interest are recommended by the marina and are well worth a trip. Kizkumu, for example, has a stunning lagoon or you can visit the waterfall near Turgut, which is hidden in the shade of sycamore trees.
